Understanding your options

OEM vs. ODM — What's the Difference?

Both services are available at BOVTECK, depending on how much design input you want to provide versus rely on our team for.

OEM

You Design, We Manufacture

You provide the specifications, drawings, or an existing reference sample — our team manufactures it exactly to your requirements under your brand.

  • You provide technical specs or a reference sample
  • We manufacture to your exact requirement
  • Full branding/private labeling under your name
  • Best for brands with in-house technical/product teams
ODM

We Design, You Brand It

You tell us your product goals and target market — our R&D team designs the valve, actuator, or packaging solution, then you brand and sell it as your own.

  • You describe your product goal & target spec
  • Our R&D team designs the solution from scratch
  • Faster path if you don't have in-house engineering
  • Ideal for new brands entering aerosol categories

How it works

Our OEM/ODM Development Process

A typical custom development project from first inquiry to mass production.

1

Inquiry & Requirement Review

Share your target spec, reference sample, or product goal. NDA available upon request for sensitive projects.

1–3 days
2

Technical Feasibility Review

Our engineering team reviews feasibility, proposes a design direction, and confirms whether new tooling is required.

3–5 days
3

Design & Drawing Confirmation

Technical drawings and 3D renderings are shared for your approval before any tooling is cut.

5–7 days
4

Tooling / Mold Development

In-house CNC mold-making and stamping die development, built to ±0.01mm precision.

15–25 days
5

First Sample Production & Testing

First samples are produced and tested (leak, spray, dosage) before being sent for your approval.

5–7 days
6

Sample Approval & Adjustment

Based on your feedback, we fine-tune tooling if needed before confirming for mass production.

3–10 days (if adjustment needed)
7

Mass Production & Export

Full production run with standard QC checkpoints, followed by export packing and shipment.

20–30 days
Tooling & investment

How Tooling Cost Works

Transparent terms around mold ownership and cost — no surprise fees.

Mold Ownership

Tooling developed for your custom project is dedicated to your product design. Ownership terms are confirmed in writing before tooling begins.

Cost Offsetting

In many cases, tooling cost can be partially or fully offset against your first mass production order, depending on order volume — details confirmed in your quotation.

Transparent Quotation

Tooling cost, per-unit price, and lead time are all quoted separately and clearly before you commit to the project — no hidden fees.

Private label & branding
